romney’s election would be the perfect excuse for me to finally go to ireland, is what i’m getting out of this.

Reporting from Ireland here, and I can say that no, we don’t want America to be Ireland. I mean, where would all the young* unemployed educated Americans go for jobs? Where would be America’s Australia?

*And not so young…nothing makes me sadder than hearing about another family in my extended circle where the father, who should have been retiring in a few years, has had to leave Ireland and move to Australia or Canada to find work.
